Kappa Alpha Theta is an organization focused on sisterhood, service, and scholarship. We participate in many service-oriented events throughout the year to support the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, the fraternity’s philanthropic arm, as well as CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Theta’s international philanthropy.

Theta is the first Greek-letter fraternity for women and exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience. This is done through our tremendous bonds of sisterhood, including weekly sisterhood activities and monthly socials. Our annual Hoedown is held in the fall, and Theta’s formal is traditionally in late spring. However, sisterhood for Theta doesn’t happen once a week or at an annual formal; it’s the daily and constant occurrences that bring us together. The intellectual ambition of Theta is the attainment of highest scholarship. As an organization we strive for academic excellence, always working to help each other towards improving. Now that you have an idea of what Theta is about, we encourage you to take part in John Carroll’s recruitment process!
